In December 2025, the Cornerstone of Hope team brought hope, dignity, and joy to vulnerable families across different communities in Guatemala. What began as a dream became a real and tangible impact for dozens of families.

Rebuilding Foundations, Restoring Safety

Two families living in vulnerable conditions in El Progreso, Guastatoya, received one of the most meaningful gifts a family can experience: the certainty that their home is a safe place.
​
The team visited two homes that were in critical condition. In the first, structural column reinforcement was carried out, ensuring the building's stability against the region's harsh weather conditions. In the second, a perimeter wall was constructed to protect its inhabitants, especially during rainy season, when these communities face the greatest risk.
Every reinforced column, every block laid, reflects the conviction that every family deserves to live with dignity and without fear.

Love in Action at El Callejón

The streets of El Callejón welcomed the Cornerstone of Hope team, where families in need were waiting for far more than material resources. Food bags were distributed to low-income families, and toys were handed out to the children of the community, filling with smiles a year-end that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
​
But beyond the material, the team paused to pray over people in the community, walking alongside their burdens with faith and with the assurance that they are not alone. Because the deepest hope doesn't come in a bag it comes from knowing that someone sees you, values you, and believes in your future.

A New Home, A Transformed Life

In the community of El Deshoje, an entire family experienced what it means to receive a dignified home. Their house, which had been in precarious conditions and posed a real danger to those living in it, underwent a complete renovation by the Cornerstone of Hope team.
​
Solid walls, a secure roof, a livable space — what may seem ordinary to many represented a turning point for this family: the difference between danger and safety, between hopelessness and a fresh start.
​
This project is a testimony that when a community unites with purpose, transformation is not only possible — it is inevitable.

Joy Shared in El Rancho

The municipal field in El Rancho became a vibrant gathering place filled with life and gratitude. Children and adults from low-income families in the community came together to welcome the Cornerstone Team, who arrived loaded with food bags and toys to share.
​
Adults received food bags that ease the daily burden of their households. Children, in turn, received toys that reminded them they deserve to celebrate, to dream, and to play just like any child in the world.
​
The image of those families gathered as evening fell is the best summary of what Cornerstone of Hope represents: a community that acts, that serves, and that transforms.

Bringing Joy and Hope to Zone 3

The courtyard of Colegio Penzotti in Zone 3 of Guatemala City became a place of celebration, connection, and transformation. The Cornerstone of Hope team arrived ready to give everything — and that is exactly what they did.
​
Through games, activities, and shared moments, the team had the opportunity to present the message of salvation in a way that was accessible, joyful, and full of life. Children laughed, played, and experienced firsthand that hope has a name and a story worth knowing.
​
No one left empty-handed. Food was shared with both children and adults who attended, and every family received a bag of groceries to take home. The children were also gifted with toys — a simple gesture that carries an enormous message: you are seen, you are valued, and you matter.
​
Zone 3 will not forget this December.

A Gathering That Changed

The sports complex of Guastatoya opened its doors to one of the most powerful gatherings of this December campaign. Hundreds of families, children, and community members came together in a space that was transformed by the presence and purpose of the Cornerstone of Hope team.
​
God's Word was shared with boldness and love, and the team took time to pray personally over those who came forward — carrying burdens, seeking peace, and finding both. The atmosphere shifted as faith filled the room.
​
Adults received bags of groceries, a practical and meaningful gift for families navigating daily hardship. Children were treated to gifts and a full meal, reminding every little one present that they deserve to celebrate the season with joy and abundance.
Guastatoya experienced something real that day — and the impact will echo far beyond December.
